Jack
Jack came to the organisation as a Volunteer Joiner in January 2012, he was unemployed and and had been referred by a local college where he had recently completed an NVQ Level 1 in Carpentry and Joinery.
Along with Jack’s larger than life personality, he brought a willingness to work hard and was always looking to make progress in his skills, performance and qualifications.
During his time with the organisation, Jack achieved a number of qualifications including further NVQs, First Aid, Authorised Paslode Operator, Asbestos Awareness, Fire Safety and Sharps Awareness.
In September 2013, Jack completed his Intermediate Level Apprenticeship in Wood Occupations and was making great progress in his role, he was actually starting to take on day-to-day management of sites.
Jack recently moved on from the organisation to take up a job with a local construction company. Whilst it is disappointing to lose someone with Jack’s personality, ability and qualifications the organisation thinks it is great to see someone want to improve their experience and skills as much as Jack.

Jack is an excellent example of the work our organisation does and we are extremely proud to say we had him as a member of our team, we would like to extend our best wishes to him with his future personal and career development.
