140 mile cycle ride to raise vital funds

Five members of staff from Northgate Public Services, a software and outsourcing business with offices in Hartlepool, are taking on a 140 mile Coast to Coast cycle ride over three days from 19 to 21 June 2015.  The cycle rise starts in Whitehaven in Cumbria and ends in Tynemouth, with funds raised going towards our work with homeless people in the Hartlepool area.

David Coulson, Northgate Public Services Programme Director and one of the five cyclists tackling the rough 140 mile route explained ” We are delighted to be able to raise funds in aid of such a good cause.  This year Northgate Public Services has chosen to support homelessness as part of its Communities Matter scheme in support of worthy causes.  We hope many people will support our fundraising event for Community Campus 87 by donating through the official website, so that we can improve the lives of many people who are homeless in the Hartlepool area”.

Community Campus Chief Executive Carl Ditchburn adds “Community Campus relies heavily on fundraising and we extremely pleased that Northgate Public Services have chosen our organisation to fundraise for this year.  We send the best of luck to the staff members taking part in the cycle ride and thank them for taking on the this extremely tough challenge”.

Progress can be followed on Twitter @bikeblokes and anyone who wishes to donate can go to the event’s official fundraising website page which can be accessed via the following link www.gogetfunding.com/northgate-is-community-campus-87-c2c-ride/
