Steering Group

The Steering Group exists to provide a platform to ensure the services that we deliver are appropriate to the client’s needs and reflect the core values and principles of the organisation.

Stuart Saunders – Steering Group Chair

Stuart was previously a client of Community Campus and has volunteered his time to help develop the organisation, becoming part of the Governance structure by joining the Board in 1998, he is now the Chair of the Steering Group.

Outside the Steering Group, Stuart is involved as a member of a scrutiny panel for Coast and Country Housing and is involved in several community and regeneration activities, he also has a keen interest in local politics.

Adam Gray – Steering Group Member

Adam became involved with Community Campus in 2003, initially serving on the Board of Directors before becoming a Steering Group member. Adam worked in further education for three years before moving to the local government where he currently remains.

Adam graduated from Leeds University in 1997 with a history degree and an MA in Social Research, he lives with his wife and young son in North Yorkshire.

Ian Muter – Steering Group Member

Ian was a tenant of Community Campus for over 5 years and originally served on the Board of Directors. He now plays an active part on the Steering Group, helping to ensure that the organisation does not forget its fundamental aims and objectives.

He played an important role in running the Middlesbrough Careers Club on behalf of the organisation for over 5 years, helping many young people access various training, educational and employment opportunities.
