Commissioned Services

Middlesbrough Council

Funding has been provided by Middlesbrough Council for a number of years now to support our housing and support services in the Middlesbrough area.  This funding enables us to employ a number of support staff in Middlesbrough and deliver quality support services to young people in Middlesbrough.

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council

Funding has been provided by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council for our housing and support services, providing housing and support to homeless clients.

Charitable Grants and Donations

Nationwide Foundation

Funding has been awarded from the Nationwide Foundation as part of the Foundations Affordable Homes Strategy, which aims to create affordable housing for those in need, meeting the Foundations outcome “bringing empty properties back into use for people in need”.  The grant will cover renovation costs of two properties and development work within the community housing sector across Teesside.

Land Aid/British Land

Land Aid – The Property Industry Charity – Uniting to End Youth Homelessness has awarded a grant to Community Campus towards the renovation of at least two empty properties with costs for training and supervision on site.  The aim of then grant is to maximise the number of opportunities for engagement with our clients especially those furthest away from the labour market.

Ballinger Charitable Trust

Funding for the next two years has been agreed by the Ballinger Trust towards the core costs of running the organisation to enable its progression over the next 24 months and maintain our track record in housing and supporting young people.

Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation

We continue to work with the Philanthropic Foundation and were pleased to receive a substantial donation to help the organisation take on 6 apprentices over two years, 5 in our construction department and 1 in the administration department, this builds on the success of the earlier programme where the organisation was successful with 4 apprentices.  Staff and a trustee have also taken part in the sleep out events that raise money for work with homeless people in the area and we have spoken at various events organised by the Foundation.  For more information see www.teessidecharity.org.uk.

Virgin Money Foundation

The organisation is in receipt of a 12-month grant from the Foundation to deliver a Resettlement and Tenancy Sustainment role; the resettlement worker is working to help those with a tenancy offer from other housing providers, and working with those at potential risk of losing their tenancy and require a level of support to help them overcome their problems, to sustain their accommodation moving forward.

A number of other charitable trusts and businesses also make regular financial contributions to Community Campus.  These include:
